COURSE STRUCTURE
Own the Power of Your Story is thoughtfully curated to maximize your storytelling impact. The 75-minute classes will be a combination of lecture where you will learn essential concepts; breakouts where you will practice them and spotlight coaching where stories will transform. Each week builds on the previous.
Week 1 - Dive Inside Your Audience's Minds & Hearts
In week one, you will learn what you don't don't get taught in school - how to choose, analyze and understand your audience. No matter how much you may think you understand your audience, there is always a deeper level that will yield more significant results.
Based on my career of professional storytelling, I estimate that 95% of people do not do what you will learn in week one. I'd say another 4 percent are doing this somewhat and less than 1 percent are truly maximizing their potential.
Only by strategically considering your audience every time you speak, can you make your greatest impact.
Week 2 - Clarify Your Offer & Strategically Select your Story
In week two, you will learn to get clear on what you are offering so that you can select the right story to best serve the audience you came to understand in week one.
We have many stories and many aspects of each one. You will learn how to choose one that will yield the greatest results.
Week 3 - Shape Your Story to Match Your Audience & Offer
Think of your storytelling like a puzzle. Week three is where it begins to take form. My unique method trains you to merge all three - audience, story and offer - for impact.
Week 4 - Elevate Your Story
In week four, you take the puzzle pieces to the next level, including how to start, how to finish, where to expand and what to cut. You will learn how to grow your confidence and stand in your power.
Week 5 - Spotlight
In just five training sessions, you will have crafted your unique, three-minute story to share with your chosen audience. In week five, you will share that story in breakouts.
You will have guidance on how to move forward, shortening or lengthening your story as well as adapting it for different audiences, circumstances and goals.
